The wedding will also feature Vito’s youngest son and the decorated World War II ship Michael. Michael does not seem to be interested in a family business. Vito is a powerful man, kind to all who respect him, but ruthless to those who do not. But if a powerful and cunning competitor wants to sell drugs and needs Don’s influence, Vito refuses to do so. This is followed by a collision between Vito’s aging old values and new ways that can make Michael do what he had been most reluctant to do and wage a mafia war against all the other mafia families that could tear Corleone’s family apart.
